Our client, a dynamic company based in Mississauga, is currently seeking a diligent and experienced Bilingual French Collections Specialist to join their team on an ongoing contract basis. As the Bilingual French Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the finance department, focusing on collections, reconciliations, and customer communications.Your responsibilities in this role:Providing excellent service and ensuring exceptional results in the collection of outstanding commercial and consumer receivables.Contacting past-due customers by phone or e-mail, requesting payments, and negotiating appropriate payment arrangements.Perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy in account balances and transactions.Re-send invoices to customers upon request, maintaining accurate records of all communications.Reviewing and analyzing Accounts Receivables to determine problem accounts and initiate reconciliation/dispute processObtaining and preparing credit information and recommending credit limits, including limits for Credit Supervisor’s approval and above.Yield to all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and regulations.Ensure payments are processedDirect all billing and reporting activities in accordance to deadlinesQualifications:Excellent communication skills in both French and English, both written and verbal.Minimum of 3 years previous collections experience and a good knowledge of credit and collections practices within a large corporate environment.3+ years of prior high volume collections experienceComprehensive knowledge of Microsoft ExcelProven knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 Finance & OperationsBilling Functions experience preferredAA or BS/BA in Accounting preferredAbility to analyze and make decisions on customer accounts
