Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Collection Specialist to join our team. This role is a hybrid position, allowing the candidate to work from home or in the office as needed. The successful candidate must be fluent in Spanish and comfortable working independently and interacting with other functional areas of the organization daily. The primary responsibilities include reviewing and monitoring end-to-end credit and collection policies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide collection support for various markets
  2. Review, investigate, and recommend action on past-due accounts
  3. Communicate with customers with large outstanding balances
  4. Create, manage, and issue specific customer communications (such as drop notices or demand letters)
  5. Collaborate with internal and external business partners to resolve collections-related customer issues
  6. Reconcile accounts in case of discrepancies and prepare reports as needed
  7. Identify and implement process improvements
  8. Rely on knowledge, training, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  9. Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  1. 1 year of collections or accounts receivable experience
  2. Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure their timely completion
  6. Ability to adapt to constant change
  7. Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  8. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a requirement for this role

Education:

  1. Bachelor's degree preferred
