We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Collection Specialist to join our team at Electricenergyonline. As a key member of our collections team, you will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring end-to-end credit and collection policies and processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide collection support for various markets, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer accounts.
- Review, investigate, and recommend action on past due accounts, utilizing your analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Communicate with customers with large outstanding balances, providing clear and concise information to resolve their accounts.
- Create, manage, and issue specific customer communications, such as drop notices or demand letters, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external business partners to resolve collections-related customer issues, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Reconcile accounts in case of discrepancies and prepare reports as needed, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identify and help execute process improvements, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our collections processes.
- Utilize your knowledge, training, and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, working independently and as part of a team.
- 1 year of collections or accounts receivable experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
- Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, efficient, and accurate, with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint), with the ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely completion.
- Ability to adapt to constant change, with a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a requirement for this role, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on business, finance, or a related field.
