B2B Sales Representative

We are looking for a Field Sales Representative to join our team for the Clover payment technology products and services. The ideal candidate will prospect and utilize Clover product knowledge to pursue small business owners as in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and provide merchants with the best options for the payment processing needs. Using your prior sales experience and upcoming training, you will build a strong sales portfolio and generate new accounts.

We are a sales and marketing firm founded in 2017 in the North York region. We partner with business technology companies looking to expand their brand while growing their market share. Our current client is Clover. To date we have serviced over 6,500+ small-to-medium sized businesses throughout Canada, providing them with all-in-one tech solutions to service their customers. Scorpium is committed to securing lasting customers for our clients and to providing quality, innovative tech solutions to customers that truly need it.
By working with the Scorpium organization you will become the face of our customer acquisition campaign. Responsibilities will involve key processes such as qualifying sales opportunities, setting up assessment appointments and engaging with decision makers. It is our mission to expand internationally, servicing businesses around the world. In addition to the specifications of your role, this is a goal that you will be working toward daily.
Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end sales responsibilities including finding leads, building proposals, drafting contracts, developing relationships with customers, tracking pipelines, and closing sales face-to-face.
- Understand customer pain points and provide a solution
- Service existing clients
- Effectively demonstrate product knowledge, attend training and associated workshops to stay well-informed on company products, services, and pricing, as well as understand competitor products and pricing.
- Meet or exceed established goals for territory development and sales quotas
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
- Valid Canadian Driver's license and access to vehicle
- Passionate about sales and customer service
- 1-2 years experience in sales with strong track record of success
- Full-time availability
- Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
