THE POSITION
The People & Culture Manager will collaborate with our People Team and People Managers to provide best-in-class, comprehensive HR, recruiting, and people support for our corporate and hourly teams. This position offers a hands-on role where you can drive impactful HR initiatives and programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment process, including marketing and posting via social channels, screening, interviewing, and delivering an industry-leading candidate experience.
- Coach, guide, and support people leaders on people practices such as performance, career development, and employee relations.
- Empower leaders (new and existing) to deliver best in-class team experiences.
- Launch and improve people initiatives that create an industry-leading experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Own the delivery through our communication channels to keep our team informed and connected on both strategic initiatives and people resources.
- Administer regular team surveys and provide insights and recommendations based on the results.
- Facilitate our bi-annual checking and annual review cycle with the VP of P&C and people leaders.
- Become a subject matter expert in our benefits package and total rewards programs, working with our broker and VP to administer and improve these programs, including renewals and utilization reporting.
- Update and maintain our Handbook and Policies.
- Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process, from new hire orientation to exit interviews.
- Work with our Office Coordinators across our three locations to oversee health, safety, and environmental matters. Oversee KITS's approach to health, safety, community, and environment.
- Maintain and build knowledge of trends and standard practices in the HR discipline to proactively examine and suggest improvements to culture, practices, and policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 5+ years' experience in talent management or key HR roles, demonstrating the ability to build and improve HR programs.
- In-depth knowledge of HR trends, technology, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills, with a track record of using data to inform HR strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to iterate on initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
- Experience in both corporate and hourly workforce environments.
- Expertise in continuous performance management and OKR/goals management.
- CPHR designation, or working towards it.
- Strong understanding of change management best practices.
