Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our operations team. This role is crucial for driving business growth within the water infrastructure, industrial markets, private sector, developers, and mining industries. The ideal candidate will have a robust network and a proven track record in business development, specifically focused on sectors aligned with our services.


Key Responsibilities:


Business Development Strategy & Relationship Management:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development initiatives to capture opportunities in water infrastructure and industrial markets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including private sector clients, developers, and industry partners.
  • Attend industry events and networking functions to represent Industra Construction and promote our services.


Market Analysis & Strategy Implementation:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create targeted marketing strategies that align with market needs and company capabilities.
  • Maintain an organized client and lead database for tracking interactions and opportunities.


Collaboration & Proposal Support:

  • Work closely with technical experts and project teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions that meet client needs.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company objectives.


Mentoring & Team Collaboration:

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior business development staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and success.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented environment that emphasizes achieving strategic goals and delivering exceptional client service.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of business development experience, preferably in the water infrastructure, industrial markets, or mining sectors.
  • Strong network within the relevant industries, with a demonstrated ability to leverage connections for business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and nurturing long-term client relationships.
  • A background in engineering or a technical field is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
