Channel Account Manager, Distribution

Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Channel Account Manager, Distribution to join our talented team. The Channel Account Manager, Distribution is responsible for developing and executing channel strategies in the distribution channel that align with TP-Link Canada's business objectives and growth targets. As Channel Account Manager, Distribution you are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing them with the necessary support, resources, and training to drive sales and revenue growth. You also thrive in ambiguous situations, with the ability to be a self-starter and find solutions with/without guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute channel strategies in distribution channels that align with TP-Link Canada's business objectives and growth targets.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners, resellers, and strategic distributors to expand TP-Link's market reach.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, providing them with the necessary support, resources, and training to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales (VAR and DMR sales team), and product teams to develop effective channel marketing campaigns, promotions, and incentives.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats in the market.
- Forecast, track, and report on key performance metrics, including sales targets, market share, and channel partner performance.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to internal teams on market conditions, customer preferences, and product requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, product knowledge, and technological advancements to effectively communicate TP-Link's value proposition to partners and customers.
- Travel as required to meet with channel partners and attend industry events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree. MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in channel management, distribution, or sales within the technology or networking industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing channel partner relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and draw actionable insights to inform business strategies.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office(especially Excel) and other relevant business tools.
