Contract: 07/22/2024 to 07/21/2025

Pay rate: $23.27/hr.

Location: Nova Scotia (Remote)


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Supporting Disability Case Managers and Vocational Rehabilitation Counsellors on a variety of tasks and liaison for plan members; schools/colleges; and other stakeholders
  • Managing new claim set up
  • Providing front line customer service by telephone and email
  • Accountability for administrative duties and follow ups with claimants for outstanding information
  • Other duties as needed


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bilingual (English/French) required, verbal and written.
  • Post secondary education (would be an asset)
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in an administrative/clerical role.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and/or insurance terminology/concepts would be an asset
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Armed Forces terminology, processes and concepts would be an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Web Based applications
  • Solid office administration skills
