LeverageTek is actively seeking a Data Coordinator for a 1-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.


Work Location

Remote


Equipment Required

You will be expected to have your own laptop to perform the work. A laptop will not be provided.


Key Tasks

Responsibility 1: Data Management

  • Create and run reports to extract data from various systems to meet operational and program requests
  • Review data in Excel to identify duplicates and/or patterns
  • Review data in EMIS to address duplicates
  • Review data in Excel to identify inconsistent formatting, spelling, etc.
  • Provide input and assist with testing of new applications or system enhancements to improve data management capacities
  • Update data in EMIS to ensure accuracy
  • Contribute to the improvement of data management practices

Responsibility 2: Emergency Operations

  • Cross reference data from multiple systems
  • Review system data quality and provides recommendations to the Data Management Lead
  • Monitor operational and program adherence to processes and standards by leveraging data reviews


Key Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Strong research and analytical mindset and extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal; ability to present data and its implications in a clear, concise manner


Qualifications

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Suite with intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and high computer literacy
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is required, French is considered a strong asset
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Accountability and independence
  • Ability to learn new applications quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks at once
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Ability to work varied hours including weekends if required
