Position: Sales Coordinator

Reports to: VP of Sales Operations


Reporting directly to the VP of Sales Operations, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for the administration and coordination of high performing accounts for selected regions.


Key Responsibilities:


Account Management

  • A point of contact for National Accounts escalations
  • Work with clients to handle problem resolution and delivery within established timelines
  • Liaise with all departments to see escalation through to resolution
  • Document correspondence with and provide necessary reports to National Accounts and Executive teams


Sales

  • Coordinate and Administer sales related activity for their assigned Sales team which consists of the Sales Coordinator, Sales Engineer, and Regional Sales Manager
  • Participate in regularly schedule sales calls both internal and external
  • Gather and facilitate sales strategy, procedure and process information to and from sales teams to Sales Operations, and all other necessary departments
  • Assist Sales Engineer and Regional Sales Manager in qualifying/reporting of data


Administration

  • Prepare contracts and deposit invoices and follow up on their receipt to Client
  • Work with Client Services upon receipt of signed contract to ensure project is handed off to the Project Management team
  • Work with members of the Sales team to prepare RFP’s and follow up on their receipt to Client
  • Utilize and manage (including administrator to) various internal resources/programs: CRM tools, Synapse, Navision, Solar, MS Office programs, SharePoint
  • Assist Director of Sales Operations with training and offering refresher courses to sales staff
  • Prepare status reports and communicate sales status to Director of Sales Operations, VP of Sales or Regional Sales Manager, by providing updates, breaking down numbers, etc.
  • Accurately pull all details of sales for regular reports


Coordinating and Scheduling

  • Assist in special projects
  • Provide direction and support for incoming inquiries to sales team and other departments
  • Work with Purchasing, Scheduling and Accounting Departments to ensure Site Surveys are ordered, scheduled and invoiced in a timely manner
  • Assist Regional Sales Manager with scheduling and compiling information for regularly scheduled sales calls, both internal and external
  • Assist Regional Sales Manager with planning of Client meetings or events as needed



Skills and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar position where candidate has daily interaction in supporting Regional Sales Managers
  • Experience with contract preparation & sales administration
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and duties effectively
  • Understands the importance of teamwork
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer and time management skills (MS Office, internal tools)
  • Technical knowledge pertaining to High Speed Internet Services, Video on Demand, Interactive TV, Free to Guest & VoIP Telephone Solutions and knowledge of the hospitality industry considered an asset
  • Limited travel may be required (20%)
