Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Specialist to manage and grow our Meta and Phase Docs product lines. Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition and Client Development. This newly created role requires a deep understanding of software sales, particularly in niche markets and major capital projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to pitch technical products, handle objections, and leverage relationships to drive sales.


Pay: Base salary + commission.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop, maintain, and enhance the marketing plans for Meta and PhaseDocs.


Split focus and time equally between Meta and Phase Docs, acting as a shared resource.



Represent our company at industry conventions, including planning and managing booth activities.


Meta Group:


Building and maintaining relationships with key contacts in natural resources, engineering and infrastructure sectors, with an emphasis on major capital projects.


Sell niche services, positioning Meta as a Cadillac document management solution—premium yet powerful.


Promote and up sell integrated service models, including document management consulting and document control resources.


Manage client relationships for long-term contracts, providing ongoing system and document control support.


PhaseDocs:


Execute broad advertising strategies across various industries to increase product awareness.


Sell PhaseDocs as a cost-effective, flexible SharePoint-based app, primarily under a SaaS (Software as a Service) model.


Offer document management consulting and document control resources as needed to complement the software solution.


Qualifications:


Proven experience in technical sales, particularly in software.


Strong understanding of major capital projects across various industries.


Ability to work under a commission-focused compensation structure.


Strong presentation skills and the ability to pitch complex products effectively.


Experience in managing client relationships and long-term contract negotiations.


Flexibility to adapt marketing strategies for diverse products and markets.


Ideal Candidate:

Ability to understand and articulate technical aspects of software

products.


Creative and strategic thinker, capable of developing innovative sales strategies.
