We are growing and want you to grow with us. Our team is seeking a proactive, reliable, creative and analytical Senior Product Planning Manager to join our product innovation team.
The Role: As a key member of the Product innovation team, you will be responsible for leading the overall product planning and improvement direction. You need to generate MRD reports based on insightful research results and closely collaborate with the product development team to ensure that new features and upgrades align with the overall strategy you have planned by influencing Product Roadmap, short and long-term.. Additionally, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for product research, proposing specific research requirements, including but not limited to user insights, competitor research, and industry research. These research findings will play a crucial role in shaping your product planning. Lastly, you should possess strong data analysis skills to timely adjust your product planning direction based on the latest data results and market feedback.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the overall product planning and improvement direction of the existing video software products, including product repositioning, expanding the target audience, updating product feature directions, and designing monetization strategies based on both PRD and MRD synchronization.
· Responsible for formulating research requirements and collaborating closely with the product research team.
· Based on periodic research results, regularly produce forward-looking MRD reports, closely monitor industry competitors' dynamics, determine the overall product planning, and communicate closely with the product development team to ensure the execution of detailed plans.
· Responsible for regularly reviewing product and market feedback data, as well as assessing the execution quality of the product development team, and making necessary adjustments to product roadmap based on this feedback.
What We're Looking For:
●6 years + experience as a Product Manager, with at least 3 years of experience in the technology or consumer software, SaaS industry.
● Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly, coordinating collaboration among different teams, and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
● Specific critical thinking skills, capable of independently analyzing problems, proposing innovative solutions, and effectively evaluating the pros and cons of different options.
Nice to Have:
● Bachelor’s / master’s degree in computer science or engineering
● Experience working for a large B2C technology company in North America
● Ability to read, write and speak in Simplified Chinese (Mandarin) Language
● Experience in detailed product planning, market data analysis, and proficient in the use of video
editing tools
