**About the Role**: As the Business Development Associate, you will play a pivotal role in driving the market growth strategy for Contacti AI. Despite being an early-stage startup, we are passionate about our product and ready to showcase our capabilities to potential investors. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is eager to contribute to our journey towards success and help secure funding for our growth initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Identify Markets**: Conduct thorough market research to prioritize high-potential markets for Contacti AI's product, understanding market trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities.
- **Perform Customer Outreach**: Initiate and nurture relationships through cold-calling, prospecting, and door-to-door visits, effectively communicating Contacti AI's value proposition and understanding client needs.
- **Manage Customer Pipeline**: Implement a structured process to source, secure, and grow customers, providing exceptional service and resolving customer challenges to ensure successful outcomes.
- **Represent Company**: Act as a brand ambassador at conferences, trade events, and industry gatherings, showcasing Contacti AI's product and networking to raise awareness within the industry.
- **Prepare Pitch Documents and Write Proposals**: Develop compelling pitch documents and write proposals to raise funds for Contacti AI's growth and development initiatives.
- **Develop Sales Assets**: Collaborate with the team to create impactful sales materials, including presentations, case studies, and collateral, highlighting the benefits of Contacti AI's product.
**Qualifications**:
- 1-2 years of working or academic background in B2B business development, preferably within SaaS sector, demonstrating successful client outreach and relationship building.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively interact with customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with customers throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing.
- Willingness to be on the road and travel approximately 20% for client meetings, conferences, and external representation, with flexibility to varying travel demands.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and prioritize target markets effectively, leveraging market data for strategic decision-making.
- Proactive and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of driving initiatives independently.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail, adept at multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work with CRM solutions.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Must be under 30 years old and a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee due to funding requirements.
