Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Global Business Development Manager at Laserglow Technologies in North York, ON. The Global Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing international business strategies, managing accounts, and driving international sales growth. This role involves extensive communication with clients and partners to foster strong relationships and expand market reach.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement strategic business development plans to contribute to the global business of Laserglow Technologies
· Developing and maintaining company sales opportunities
· Achieve business targets set on an annual and quarterly basis
· Develop business plans and strategies in the global market with relevant stake holders
· Contribute to the development of project deployment, customer service and technical support services globally
· Identify new regions for business development opportunities, performing market analysis for those regions to ensure alignment with the business products and solutions
· Client Engagement – ensure high level of professionalism, customer satisfaction and solutions to enable growth of Laserglow
· Manage sales leads from beginning to end
· Ability to organize, track and report on sales pipeline and progress updates
· Preform presentations to existing and potential customers
· Present and demonstrate product knowledge and the potential benefits to customers
· Negotiate sales contracts and associated training and implementation milestones
· Work collaboratively with the production and management teams to provide insights into client and industry product requirements as well as potential developments that sets Laserglow apart from its competitors
· Represent Laserglow in trade shows, industry events, and collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to prepare for such events
· Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts as required
· Compliance with Laserglow Technologies’ policies and procedures
· Other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time
Qualifications
- International Business Development, Business Planning, and International Sales skills
- Strong Communication and Account Management abilities
- Experience in developing and implementing successful business strategies
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
- Proficiency in market research and analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 5 + years in the photonics or technology industry is a plus
- Minimum 10 years in account management or business development with a proven track record in solution selling, including complex sale cycles and executive level engagement
