Location: Halifax, Canada (Fully Remote)


Job Description:

We are currently seeking a French Bilingual Help Desk Associate to join our team remotely in Canada. The ideal candidate should be available to work in a 24x7 shift environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Resolve Level 1 issues related to personal computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Help Desk Support: Answer the help desk line and address users' requests regarding computer systems.
  • Ticket Management: Acknowledge all user requests within defined service levels and create service orders (tickets). Assist users in providing necessary information to resolve issues.
  • User Documentation: Maintain user information and documentation accurately.
  • Closure of Requests: Ensure that client requests via the ticketing system are managed to closure in a timely manner.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Telephone Etiquette: Strong telephone skills with a focus on clear and professional communication.
  • Business Relationship Development: Ability to build effective business relationships and communicate with the user community.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Basic troubleshooting abilities for computer hardware and software issues.
  • Technical Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of network, server, and desktop administration, including installations, upgrades, techniques, tools, and equipment.


Required Skills:

  • End-User Support: Experience in providing desktop support for Windows operating systems.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with local and network installation, Internet Explorer, TCP/IP, DHCP, Device Manager, Registry Editor, User Manager, and Admin Commands.
