Responsibilities

The Sales Manager contributes to the success of the PepsiCo Beverages Canada by leading the sales and distribution strategy. This broad leadership role encompasses sales, customer service and marketing equipment and warehousing operations.

Maximize volume and revenue in a defined area in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment Coach and lead a team of sales professionals and frontline employees on selling and display execution and merchandising standards Develop strong talent pipeline of Frontline Supervisors for export to larger roles within PepsiCo Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance Effectively lead delivery and merchandising operations through consistent delivery and merchandising standards in a Geo-Box environment Effectively lead the warehouse and facility management operations Effectively lead strong and positive labor relations with the Union  Develop, motivate and lead a large team of employees Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs Qualifications Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Business  Demonstrated people leadership capability with a commitment to coaching and development  Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative  Solid leadership and interpersonal skills required  Demonstrated analytical and math skills required to build key insights for quarterly and annual operating planning and previous experience managing a large scale P&L  Strong communication and presentation skills required  Strong change management skills required  Consumer products experience in a direct store delivery environment required  Demonstrated computer proficiency  Demonstrated problem-solving skills  Five years of people leadership required, preferably in a sales environment  Possess a valid driver's license and own's a vehicle
