ABOUT THE ROLE

• Hyundai experience is considered as an asset

• Small and close sales team. Must work well in a small group setting

•While sales are still a focus, we monitor activities throughout the day as a precursor for future sales and success. Instead of waiting for the door to swing, we focus on filling the white space on our calendars

• Hours 9am to 6pm with one day off during the week

• Monthly sales bonuses on top of commission

•Converting showroom visitors into customers through understanding their needs and interests and matching them with the most appropriate car

•Focus on expanding customer base and strengthening the loyalty of existing customers through accepting and acting upon feedback through open and interactive communication

•Strict adherence to the Dilawri Sales Engagement Strategy, including language patterns

•Ensure all customer communication is Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) compliant

•Responsible for maintaining customer databases including owner follow-up, unsold customers and conformation of delivery dates and times.

•Maintains files for both sold and unsold customers including detailed notes entered in our CRM software program

•Responsible for vehicle delivery including inspection of the vehicle two hours prior to delivery time.

•Conducts lot walks at least twice a week to ensure up-to-date general inventory knowledge

•Maintains comprehensive knowledge and understanding of different vehicles, their features and characteristics of own brands and competitive models

•Posses a strong understanding of aftermarket products such as warranties, chemical applications, finance plans and accessories.

•Attends and actively participates in team meeting and training courses

•Assist with lot maintenance such as moving sold vehicles into the appropriate location, re-parking demos and snow removal

ABOUT YOU

• Have a minimum of 2 years of selling experience

•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to create and foster relationships with customers on the grounds of integrity, professionalism and honesty. Must have the ability to listen and ask appropriate questions to ensure the customer’s needs are met.

• Ability to communicate effectively and properly with video messaging

•Excellent customer service skills. Ability to negotiate, explain and assist customers to ensure they are placed in the vehicle that matches their needs and interests.

•Must be computer literate with the ability to use a variety of programs and learn other programs easily. Experience with Reynolds and One-Eighty is an asset.

• Experience with internet lead management preferred

•Motivated by working both within a team and individual environment.

•Must be self-motivated and pro-active with a desire for knowledge and an ability to retain facts and information.

•Requires a valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract

•AMVIC Licensed an asset
