As a Regional Sales Director, Life & Health Insurance, you generate life and living benefits sales across various networks. You represent Desjardins Insurance at industry events, field offices and events. You work closely with advisors and field partners to develop life insurance sales, promote, and educate on sales concepts and to identify suitable client solutions. You have strong presentation and communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills. You have a demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate sales relationships with advisors and field partners. You also have a demonstrated knowledge and strong ability to develop and grow a territory. You are specialized in selling life and living benefits products, promoting, and developing business relationships. We are recruiting for one position. The position will cover the province of Alberta, supporting the growth of our dedicated sales force. More specifically, you will be required to :

Promote and sell life and living benefits products and develop business relationships across various networks

Work within a team environment

Work with various software applications and available resources to develop and grow sales

Achieve stated sales targets

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field

A minimum of seven years of relevant experience life insurance industry, and in wholesaling

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

LLQP license

Proficient speaker, expert proficiency in English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients

Have working knowledge of the carriers, regulatory issues, and trends within the industry

Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle as there will be travel within Alberta

Action oriented, Communicates effectively, Customer Focus, Differences, Drive results, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble learning
