Osler is currently recruiting for a Legal Talent Specialist to join our Legal Talent department in the Toronto office. This position plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of employment services for legal professionals.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Proactively executing on employment service programs for legal professionals including leave of absences, office and client secondments, transfers, status changes, onboarding, and departures Conducting full-cycle recruitment for legal professionals, including drafting job ads, coordinating approvals, implementing recruitment strategies, driving the interview and offer process, and conducting reference checks Acting as a primary point of contact for legal professionals on employment services, policies, and recruitment matters Organizing and coordinating various team building events for legal professionals Supporting the performance management processes for legal professionals Developing, maintaining, and updating national talent management template letters/memos as well as protocols and checklists impacting our legal professionals Participating in and leading various projects and programs related to legal professionals Performing other duties as assignedEducation and Experience
This position requires a post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related discipline plus a minimum of three years’ relevant experience ideally gained in professional services or a law firm. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

Employment at Osler is therefore conditional on complying with any vaccination policies that Osler may adopt from time to time in response to the recommendations of public health authorities.
We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, which includes a requirement to work partially in the office.
