PAL Technical Services is currently seeking a Full-Time Utility Personnel to join our team in Halifax, NS.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ramp servicing and ground power starts of company aircraft. Assist with aircraft towing operations. Hangar maintenance and general housekeeping duties. Maintenance and flight crew shuttle services. Maintenance workshop duties related to aircraft parts and materials. Aircraft freight delivery and pickup. Assist with aircraft grooming services. Refuel ground support equipment; ground power unit, MTC truck and van. Carry out weekly inspections of ground and hangar equipment including ladder inspections.Qualifications:
Completion of High School. The ability to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated to perform and complete assigned tasks. A strong commitment to safety, adhering to all safe work environment standards and procedures. Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the aircraft environment. Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time, as well as lifting weight up to 50lbs. Availability for shift work – may include mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays. The ability to work well in a team environment, with strong communication and problem solving skills. Valid Driver’s License, with clean Driver's Abstract. Must be able to obtain the following: A RAIC (Restricted Area Identification Card).An AVOP – Type D (Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit) (Preference will be given to candidates who already have an AVOP). A Security Clearance, which includes a check of your last 5 years of employment and criminal record history.What We Offer to our PALs:
