Snowmaking Team Lead

Accountabilities
Operate snowmaking and related equipment in a safeand responsible manner. Maintain daily snowmaking log. Perform pre- and post-operation checks. Perform daily light maintenance on equipment(topping up fluids, cleaning interior and exterior, greasing, and fueling ofmachine as needed). Layout, connect and charge hoses (setup).Discharge, disconnect, thaw and drain hoses(teardown). Discharge, disconnect, thaw and drain hoses(teardown). Activate and deactivate snowmaking pump. Recognize and report any potential hazards to theDirector of Operations, Grooming Team, Mountain Safety, and/or Fleet,Facilities and Purchasing Manager as appropriate and assist in emergencysituations. Recognize and report any unusual situations(unusual noises, poor production quality, etc.). Provide assistance to maintenance staff and assistwith other general duties as assigned. Perform snow removal and snow farming (includingsnowmaking and snow fencing). Monitor and adjust snow gun as required. Performance management.Requirements
Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basicoperations and maintenance of equipment. Basic understanding of mountain resort maintenanceand ski / snowboarding terrain needs. Previous experience with snowmaking or terrain building.Essential Skills
