Your Role as a Snow Grooming Supervisor

As a Snow Grooming Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our slopes are pristine and ready for guests. You'll lead and train a team of groomers, overseeing daily operations and maintenance of snow grooming equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive training and supervision to the grooming crew, emphasizing safety protocols and efficient equipment operation.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks on grooming equipment, including fluid checks, cleaning, greasing, and fueling.
  • Proactively identify and report any unusual noises or mechanical issues to the Maintenance team.
  • Maintain accurate records through daily vehicle logs and data input forms.
  • Ensure high-traffic areas are well-maintained by rebuilding and adjusting slopes as needed.
  • Execute snow removal and farming operations, including snowmaking and snow fencing.
  • Communicate grooming information to Security for the daily grooming report.
  • Identify and report potential hazards to Mountain Safety personnel.
  • Champion a culture of health and safety, fostering a clean and secure working environment.
  • Adapt to flexible work schedules, including afternoons, graveyard shifts, holidays, and weekends, in various weather conditions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate prior experience operating snow grooming equipment with a strong safety record.
  • Possess proven experience effectively managing or supervising a team.
  • Exhibit mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of mountain resort maintenance and ski/snowboarding terrain requirements.
  • Be a team player with a dedication to making a positive contribution to the entire resort.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate well with diverse individuals.
