You will train with our electrical and installation crews to ensure you are prepared for the job.   

Requirements: 

  • Must live in the Edmonton area 
  • Must have at minimum a Journeyman's license 
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle 
  • Experience with Handyman work  
  • Comfortable going up and down ladders and working on rooftops  
  • Have your own power tools  
  • Being able to lift 45-50lbs 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Preferred:  

  • Fall arrest safety ticket 
  • Pervious electrical knowledge/experience in solar projects 

Compensation:  

We provide wattage-based pay, enabling you to optimize your earnings. Expected annual compensation ranges from $85,000 to $115,000. 

A day in the life:  

  • Complete projects within established policies and procedures. 
  • Complete projects within time frames and budgets. 
  • Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety. 
  • Installing inverters to convert AC to DC 
  • Being able to do the groundwork on a solar installation which includes the connection to the MSP. 
  • Work exceptionally well with others, competently delegate work amongst crew and resolve potential crew issues. 
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues. 
  • Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability. 
  • Being able to fill out the proper paperwork for each job completed.
