**About the Role**:
The role of the apprentice will require an individual willing to work directly under the supervision of a Journeyperson to effectively provide our clients with residential solar installations.

**We are hiring in Calgary, Lethbridge and Edmonton**

**Scope of work**
- Work with a team under the supervision of a Journeyperson Electrician;
- Navigate 2 storey residential roofs safely with fall arrest equipment (provided);
- Ascend and descend 32ft extension ladders;
- Pull wire and install conduit, electrical boxes, and equipment;
- Carry & install solar modules on pitched roof faces;
- Heavy lifting and less than ideal weather conditions are a part of every day.

**Qualifications**
- A strong construction or athletic background.
- Comfortable working in the elements all year round.
- Flexible to work varying hours and locations from Monday to Friday.
- OHS compliant Fall Arrest - training offered but paid for by the employee (fall arrest equipment will be provided).
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more, multiple times per day.

**Requirements**:

- Reliable transportation and a drivers license, as the site location changes twice a week.
- Basic electrical hand tools and 18v drill.
- Fall arrest training at time of hire.
