Restaurant Supervisor

Acting under management, the Supervisor is responsible for supporting them in coaching and supervising staff in their performance and delegated tasks. They are a passionate ambassador: they represents senior management and above all the image of the brand. All their actions and decisions are based on the success of the team, the quality of service and the well-being of the client and employees. Their mission is to ensure the best performance of the team.
Main responsibilities:
Ensure that the quality and atmosphere of the service period meets the standards established by the company and management. Manage workflow and ensure smooth and efficient service. Assess daily performance through actions and observations and then provide coaching. Help identify opportunities for career advancement in others. Participate in the resolution of employee problems and conflicts. Ensure quality control. Standards, protocols and regulations are respected and followed. Communicate service-related organizational needs to ensure all employees are in the best position to succeed. Supervise and be a point of reference for employees. Provide advice, support and compassion. Intervene to help the management team when it’s required. Manage the relationship between staff and the organization. Be a bridge between the team and management.The skills to succeed in the role
Leadership
I have the ability to bring my collaborators to give the best of themselves. I am able to share my vision and my expectations effectively while ensuring the support of all my colleagues. I take the time to listen to the needs of my colleagues and I am a point of reference.
Coaching
The development of my colleagues is undoubtedly one of my ultimate responsibilities. I take a coaching and mentoring approach to my team and provide them with opportunities to become better. I understand that the more the skills of my collaborators are developed, the more efficient they will be.
Results oriented
I understand that the company must achieve results in order to ensure its sustainability and that this is one of my main responsibilities. Each of my decisions is made by considering the results of the restaurant and the objectives that have been set for me. I understand that the employee, the customer and the brand image are a priority and at the heart of every decision and action. I have good conflict resolution skills capable of maintaining and improving organizational productivity.
Time and priority management
I have to compose my daily life with many priorities, whether planned or not. I know how to prioritize them according to their urgency and according to the time available.
Communication Skills
I communicate my ideas clearly to my colleagues and I am open-minded. I have effective listening skills and positive language. I have no difficulty adapting to other people in order to make myself understood.
