Admin Assistant

Large, well-known organization based in Victoria is looking to hire a temp Administrative Clerk. This will be a 6-month temporary position with the possibility of extension.
Location – Victoria
Salary – $24-25/hr
Primary duties will include:
•Handling all general admin duties including supporting the Admin team, doing data entry, filing, handling calls, responding to emails
•Provide information to the public
•Working in a variety of systems including SharePoint
•Provide clerical support to other departments as required.
•Processes accounts payable invoices and work order’s
•Track payments, responds to supplier’s and contractor’s regarding payments
Requirements:
•2 + years previous administrative experience
•Previous accounting experience would be an asset
•Advanced MS Office skills including Word, Outlook and Excel
•Ability to multi-task and take initiative
•Client focused person
•Strong organizational ability
•Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
•Excellent reliability – attendance & punctuality
•Ability to work independently
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•Great interpersonal skills
