L’opportunité : Gestionnaire bilingue des communautés entrepreneuriales

Vous représenterez Futurpreneur et promouvrez ses programmes de financement et de mentorat dans les régions de Peel, Hamilton et Niagara, ainsi qu'à Toronto au besoin. Vous serez responsable du recrutement, de la qualification et du soutien des entrepreneur.e.s et des mentor.e.s bénévoles intéressé.e.s par nos programmes dans leur processus d'inscription avec Futurpreneur. En parallèle, vous maintiendrez et développerez des partenariats solides avec nos partenaires sur le terrain, afin de recruter, par leur intermédiaire, de nouveaux entrepreneur.e.s et mentor.e.s dans ces régions.

Il s'agit d'un poste permanent à temps plein, basé à notre bureau de Toronto ou dans un bureau situé à proximité. La personne titulaire de ce poste travaillera selon notre modèle de travail hybride (minimum d'un jour au bureau). Ce rôle peut nécessiter des déplacements fréquents dans les communautés rurales.

Ce que vous ferez : 

 Développement d’affaires et service à la clientèle – Entrepreneur.e.s

  • Convertir les entrepreneur.e.s leads depuis la demande d'information jusqu'à l'étape de la candidature dans notre processus
  • Identifier les canaux de marketing régionaux et les marchés cibles potentiels
  • Assister et coordonner des événements qui offrent des opportunités d'engager les entrepreneur.e.s potentiel.le.s et actuel.le.s
  • Animer des présentations et des ateliers qui promeuvent les programmes de Futurpreneur et soutiennent le développement des compétences entrepreneuriales
  • Créer des opportunités de génération de leads dans la région du Centre-Sud de l'Ontario, tout en collaborant avec des partenaires existants et nouveaux
  • Soutenir le/la responsable régional.e dans les activités et la logistique de marketing et de communication
  • Gérer les prospects en les ajoutant au système de gestion des relations clients et en effectuant le suivi nécessaire
  • Communiquer avec le/la responsable des analytes conseil en entrepreneuriat pour assurer une transition en douceur de l’entrepreneur à l'étape de financement

Développement d’affaires et service à la clientèle- Mentor.e.s

  • Recruter les mentor.e.s bénévoles intéressé.e.s à notre programme de mentorat dans leur processus d’inscription chez Futurpreneur 
  • Assurer un suivi rigoureux avec les mentor.e.s pour s’assurer que leur relation de mentorat se passe tel que prévu dans notre programme 
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les Analystes conseil en entrepreneuriat pour favoriser des jumelages mentor.e-mentoré.e de qualité 
  • Coordonner au besoin des événements qui offrent la possibilité d'engager de nouveaux mentor.e.s bénévoles

Développement des affaires – Partenaires stratégiques et de référence

  • Se connecter régulièrement avec les partenaires stratégiques et de référence pour maintenir Futurpreneur en tête de leurs préoccupations et entretenir les relations
  • Effectuer l'intégration des partenaires ; former les nouveaux partenaires et renouer avec les partenaires existants pour s'assurer qu'ils sont pleinement informés des processus de Futurpreneur
  • Être une ressource et soutenir les activités des partenaires pour amener les entrepreneur.e.s à l'étape d'approbation de prêt
  • Fournir un soutien pour les documents de prêt et la conformité lors de la distribution des prêts
  • Gérer la relation avec tous les partenaires, ainsi que développer le nombre de partenaires si et où cela est approprié
  • Assister et coordonner des événements qui offrent l'opportunité d'engager des partenaires communautaires formels
  • Gérer les demandes de renseignements des nouveaux partenaires potentiels
  • Identifier des partenaires potentiels par le biais de recherches, d'événements, de réseautage et de recommandations
  • Engager et obtenir l'adhésion des partenaires potentiels et des communautés

Ce que vous apportez: 

  • Vous devez posséder un permis de conduire valide et avoir accès à un véhicule (40 % de ce rôle inclut les déplacements locaux et provinciaux) 
  • Un type d’expérience adéquate peut comprendre une formation axée sur l'administration des entreprises, le développement économique, l'entrepreneuriat ou une expérience professionnelle pratique équivalente 
  • 3 ans d'expérience dans la vente, la création d'entreprise ou le développement économique 
  • Bilingue en français et en anglais, à l'écrit comme à l'oral, car vous devrez travailler quotidiennement avec des membres d'équipe et/ou des client.e.s non bilingues à travers le Canada et au siège social à Toronto
  • L'expérience de travail avec des entrepreneur.e.s ou des start-ups, ainsi qu'avec les plans d'affaires et les flux de trésorerie, est considérée comme un atout majeur
  • Confiant.e, proactif.ve et motivé.e, capable de travailler avec un minimum de supervision

Here’s the opportunity: Bilingual Business Development Manager

Based at the Toronto office, you will represent Futurpreneur and promote its financing and mentoring programs in the Peel, Hamilton, and Niagara regions, as well as Toronto where needed. You will be responsible for recruiting, qualifying and supporting entrepreneurs and volunteer mentors interested in our programs in their registration process with Futurpreneur. At the same time, you will maintain and develop strong partnerships with our partners in the field, to recruit new entrepreneurs and mentors, through them, in the South-Central Ontario region.

This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Toronto office or a nearby office location. The incumbent will be working on our hybrid work model (minimum of 1 day in the office). This role may require frequent travel to rural communities.

What you will do:

Business Development – Entrepreneurs 

  • Convert entrepreneur leads from inquiry through the application stage of our process
  • Identify regional marketing vehicles and potential target markets
  • Attend and coordinate events that provide opportunities to engage perspective and current entrepreneurs
  • Facilitate presentations and workshops that promote Futurpreneur Canada programs and support entrepreneurial skill development
  • Create lead generation opportunities across South-Central Ontario region, while collaborating with existing and new partners
  • Support regional lead on marketing and communication activities and logistics
  • Manage prospects through addition to client relationship management system and follow-up as required
  • Communication with client relationship manager to ensure smooth transition of applicant to funding stage 

Business Development – Mentors 

  • Attend and coordinate events that provide the opportunity to engage prospective mentors
  • Manage prospective mentor inquiries regarding mentoring program and application process
  • Communication with client relationship manager regarding fulfilling mentor gaps
  • Create connections to Futurpreneur mentor care resources and other regional resources available to support mentoring success
  • Provide exit interviews to receive valuable feedback and retain mentors
  • Recruit mentors and encourage them to register with Futurpreneur Canada to support our entrepreneurs

Business Development – Strategic Partners & Referral Partners 

  • Connect with  strategic and referral partners on a regular basis to keep Futurpreneur top of mind to their staff, and maintain relationships
  • Execute partner onboarding; train new and retrain existing partners and ensure they are fully aware of Futurpreneur processes
  • Be a resource and support community partner activities to bring entrepreneurs to a loan approval stage
  • Loan document and compliance support for loan disbursement activity
  • Manage relationship with all partners, as well as grow the number of partners if and where appropriate
  • Attend and coordinate events that provide the opportunity to engage formal community partners
  • Manage inquiries from potential new partners
  • Identify and onboard potential partners through research, events, networking and referrals 
  • Engage and create buy in from potential partners and communities 

What you will have: 

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (40% of this role includes local and provincial travel)
  • Relevant experience may include education with a focus on business administration, economic development, entrepreneurship or equivalent hands-on career experience
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, start-up business development or economic development position
  • Bilingual proficiency in both French and English, both written and oral, as you will be required to work on a daily basis with non-bilingual team members and/or clients across Canada and at Head office in Toronto
  • Experience working with entrepreneurs or business start-ups, business plans and cashflows is considered a strong asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence
  • Strong client orientation with the ability to work with volunteers
  • Confident, proactive and motivated, able to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Team oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and facilitate program presentations and workshops
  • Knowledge of trends within the entrepreneurial, startup, small business industry
  • General administration experience including budget management, report writing, etc.
  • Computer skills: experience with a customer relationship management system is desirable
