About you: 

 

As a Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and facilitating sales training and coaching workshops for our high-velocity sales team. You will collaborate with both new and tenured associates across the organization to motivate, educate, and inspire, both in formal classroom settings and informal mentoring environments. Your role will be pivotal in advocating for the sales team, streamlining processes, and identifying sales enablement initiatives to empower the team's success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Interactive Instruction: Develop and deliver engaging training materials, sales stack solutions, job aides, and presentations in both live and virtual classroom settings for our Tampa sales resources and remote associates. 
  • Promote Knowledge Sharing: Create an environment where individuals can learn from one another by encouraging the sharing of best practices among team members. 
  • Manage Knowledge Base: Manage and update our internal sales Knowledge Base, including creating and uploading scripts, talk tracks, workflows, procedures and processes, and ensuring all Knowledge Base articles are accurate and up to date. 
  • Measure Comprehension: Monitor trainee attendance and participation, using tests and quizzes to assess trainees' understanding of class material. 
  • Create with continual optimization of sales cadence and vertical messaging. 
  • Analyze calls and feedback and create scorecards and libraries: Collect and analyze calls and sales communication for sharing, coaching, and training. 
  • Live Gather Feedback: Deploy surveys to measure the class experience and collect feedback for continuous improvement. 
  • Program Coordination: Manage the setup, coordination, and implementation of sales training programs, ensuring their effectiveness. 
  • Content Management: Create and maintain training program content, ensuring that resources are up to date and relevant. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Independently and continuously evaluate training sessions to ensure content remains interesting and engaging, making recommendations for improvements as needed. 
  • Performance Evaluation: Assist in evaluating sales performance and coaching programs to identify gaps in training and performance improvement opportunities. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales leaders on coaching and training programs and participate in measuring performance and improvements. 
  • Lead by Example: Perform outbound sales activities where applicable, showcasing exemplary cold calling skills and techniques to inspire the team. 
  • Sales training and certification: Assist in developing and delivering new sales training and certification courses associated with product, features, process, sales methodologies etc. 
  • Team Engagement: Coordinate with sales leaders for recurring sales enablement and training sessions during team functions.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or sales training. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 
  • Prior experience working with Salesforce. 
  • Previous experience working with Business Development/Sales Development Resources in a high-velocity sales environment. 
  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering sales team onboarding and training programs. 
  • Knowledge of sales processes and methodologies; certification is a plus. 
  • Exceptional ability to convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to diverse audiences. 
  • Confidence in presenting to adult learners, utilizing effective facilitation skills. 
  • Strong communication skills with a positive and professional attitude. 
  • Adaptability and the ability to creatively use resources, adjusting to changes quickly and professionally. 
  • Strong team attitude and high standards of performance for self and others. 
  • Critical analysis skills with high attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
