Reportingto the Project Manager or Quality Manager the Quality Coordinatorplays an important role in ensuring that products services andprocesses meet established quality standards and comply withregulatory requirements. This role involves conducting inspectionstests and audits throughout the project lifecycle. Specifically theQuality Coordination will:


  • Maintainquality documentation according to established manuals programs andprocedures;
  • Prepareand execute inspections and testplans;
  • Performquality inspection in accordance with the related codes andcustomerspecifications;
  • Maintainlog of inspectionstatus;
  • ReviewCertified Material Test Reports asrequired;
  • Performinternal monitoring asrequired;
  • Completeall associated documentation and forms for individualinspections;
  • Writenonconformancereports;
  • Provideexpertise to site team to avoid and resolve qualityissues;
  • Manageinitial setup of the project including the development andsubmission of documents requiring review and approval ensuring thatcurrent references are printed or electronicallyavailable;
  • Attendclientmeetings;
  • Assistwith the resolution of project related concerns both technical andpersonnelrelated;
  • Coordinatefield activities with the Health and Safety team whenrequired;
  • Reviewand sign datareports;
  • Monitormanpower and adjust levels to accommodate the projectrequirements.


Requirements
  • Post SecondaryEducation in Civil Engineering or similar program or a combinationof relevant training andexperience;
  • P.Engor EIT designation ispreferred;
  • Experience inQA/QC is considered anasset;
  • 13years of experience in in similar role preferably in theconstructionindustry;
  • Excellentcommand of Microsoft Office Suite including MSProject;
  • Bilingual(an asset) but proficiency in English language with excellentcommunication skills (written and verbal) isrequired.

Post Secondary Education in Civil Engineering or similar program,or a combination of relevant training and experience; P.Eng or EITdesignation is preferred; Experience in QA/QC is considered anasset; 1-3 years of experience in in similar role, preferably inthe construction industry; Excellent command of Microsoft OfficeSuite, including MS Project; Bilingual (an asset), but proficiencyin English language with excellent communication skills (writtenand verbal) is required.
