Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for (2) detail-oriented Data Entry Specialists for our client in the insurance industry. Ideal candidates will be recent college graduates or tech-savvy individuals, with a preference for those with experience in FINTRAC reporting. The successful candidates will receive on-site training and job aids.

What is in it for you:

• Hourly salary of $20.70.
• 6-month contract.
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Work schedule: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Training: on-site training provided in Waterloo.
• Hybrid work: 3 office days, from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data gathering and data entry tasks accurately and timely according to team production standards.
• Record data from one source into another, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Inspect data for potential processing problems.
• Perform standard data entry tasks adhering to minimum production and accuracy standards.
• Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively complete tasks.
• Work well under stressful and time-sensitive situations.
• Follow job aid/instructions with strong reading comprehension and attention to detail.
• Utilize Microsoft suite applications (Word, Excel) for tasks such as mail merging.

What you will need to succeed:

• Previous experience with FINTRAC reporting.
• Banking and/or insurance industry experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications (Word, Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow instructions accurately.
