Kelly's customer, a long-standing Canadian Business that continues to grow, and is located in Burlington, ON, has a 3 month temporary Accounts Payable and Cash Administration role.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accounts Payable:

  • Responsible for the accounts payable function for head office
  • Process, code, verify and input invoices and employee expense reports
  • Reconcile and record corporate credit cards
  • Maintain records for all invoice, reports and payments
  • Add and update vendor banking information and payment terms
  • Receive and respond to vendor inquires in a timely manner
  • Prepare the weekly payment runs according to payment terms

 

Cash Management:

  • Backup a support the Cash Administrator role for daily banking and bank reconciliation activities
  • Process daily bank reconciliations and adjusting journal entries
  • Investigate and resolve issues identified in the reconciliation process in a timely manner
  • Set up online bank transactions for approval and distribute remittances
  • Maintain and distribute daily bank balance report and/or other cash reports as needed
  • Update systems with daily foreign exchange rate
  • Assist and support the finance shared services team with other banking activities as required

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Accounting Diploma
  • +6 months related work experience
  • Experience working in ERP environment desired
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to identify problems and communicate effectively
  • Highly-organized and able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

PERKS:

  • Work Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • $24.00 per hour plus 4% Vacation Pay on each pay cheque
  • 3 month temporary position
