Job Description

As part of the Ticket Operations, Administration & Reporting team you will be responsible for setting up and implementing all LIVE events that take place at our venues. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented person to join our team. Proactive thinking, collaboration and innovation are at the forefront of your daily activities when communicating with different stakeholders, building out events and working alongside internal departments. Providing excellent and extraordinary client service is a skill that you continue to develop no matter how proficient you are at it. We work in a team environment that requires an excellent communicator, who has the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively while working towards one goal.

  • Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality with all information pertaining to events and communications within our department.
  • Administration and maintenance of Live events on the Ticketmaster Host and Ticketmaster TM1 systems. Ability to learn systems quickly and capacity to continuously learn new tasks and technologies.
  • Required time management and prioritization to build and maintain multiple events at once.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the team at Ticketmaster to build and implement all events.
  • You will also be required to stay up to date with all Ticketmaster technology that pertains to Ticket Operations (current, new and upcoming releases).
  • Required to become a subject matter expert with Ticketmaster technologies (mainly HOST and TM1).
  • Work with promoters and internal departments to manage event day operations for all Live events.
  • Production team – working with this team to get a functioning CAD for event build process, continuing to work with them to determine preshow releases/ hold backs and day of event updates.
  • Guest Services – Communicate important details that will impact Fans on the day of the show and find viable solutions to production changes and relocations. Also working throughout the event to find solutions for issues brought to the ticket office for fan issues.
  • Provide internal departments with details on upcoming show announcements for ticket requirements and fan communications.
  •  Practice excellent communication skills with all internal partners (colleagues and all levels of management).
  • Liaise with event promoters on ticketing tasks - pricing, building out offers, scheduling presale/on sale, inventory management, and show settlement, among other tasks.
  • Replying to internal and external email inquiries quickly with accurate information.
  • Internal Ticketing departments - Responsible for inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Developing excellent communications and service to promoters
  • Working with part-time ticket office staff on event days – providing solutions to escalation on event days and communicating issues to management
  • Reporting – Ability to report on inventory and sales activity. As well as looking for new and innovative ways to report on specific reporting asks in the future.
  • Training – Providing expertise on new technology and daily processes to part-time staff, internal department members, and other departments.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional written, oral, and communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient at working within a team but you are also able to work independently.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of ticket administration is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Ticketmaster Host System and Archtics System is an asset but not required.
  • Above average computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Proven time management skills. You must be able to adhere to time-sensitive deadlines with a quick turnaround.
  • Client satisfaction is of the highest priority with the drive to always improve this skill.
  • Highly accurate and efficient in daily tasks with a proven track record.
  • Passion for working outside the traditional 9-5 schedule. Events and Live entertainment driven role that requires evenings, weekends, and holidays to align with working hours (both building out events and show days).
