Description
Responsibilities:
Ability to work directly with hourly shipping employees to resolve concerns Direct receiving for couriers Setting up deliveries/orders for trailers and completing all necessary paperwork corresponding with the loads Direct communication with other Atlantic sites, Sales Reps and other Company contacts and demonstrates the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to changing circumstances Operating and maintaining system for setting up and maintaining records of orders Monitoring general activities in the shipping department Ensuring outside carriers are available for deliveries Constant communication between departments when stock is received Call customers to ensure we they are updated on stock (time and date of delivery)Requirements:
Post secondary education Previous experience in a Warehouse Environment would be an asset Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products Must be familiar and be able to work with computer systems Strong/effective communication skills Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize Ability to work autonomously and with little direction in a high volume, fast paced environment Ability to present themselves in a professional mannerThe above duties are guidelines to the general requirements of the job and are not intended to constitute the full requirements.
