Taiga Building Products in Langley, BC, is currently seeking a full-time AP and Administrative Assistant for a 1.5-year contract position. The successful candidate will report to the Administration Manager and will primarily be responsible for supporting accounts payable functions and performing various administrative duties.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Post-secondary education in Business or Administration Minimum of 1 year of related experience in Administration or Reception Ability to serve as backup for answering all incoming calls and routing them to the appropriate destination Ability to serve as backup for accepting and coordinating couriers to various locations, as well as maintaining outgoing mail Proficiency in data entry Experience maintaining various filing systems Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficient in handling all administrative and office service duties Experience with invoicing and billing processing Strong computer skills preferred, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs Excellent customer service skills Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills Emphasis on computer and organizational skills Willingness to perform other duties as assigned within this role Must have own transportation, as there is no transit in the area.

Shift Timing : 8 hours/day: 40 hours/week

Start Date : May 15th , 2024
