We are seeking a Corporate Safety and Training Supervisor to join our client's team The role involves overseeing and administering all facets of occupational health and safety programs, as well as handling the onboarding and orientation of all new hires.


What the day to day looks like:

• Develop and implement safety programs in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines

• Conduct safety audits regularly to ensure the adherence to safety standards

• Administer the onboarding and orientation process for new hires

• Handle accident reporting and conduct thorough investigations following any incidents

• Monitor compliance metrics and generate reports on safety performance

• Develop strategies for improving compliance risk management

• Liaise with the Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) regarding any workplace incidents

• Ensure all health and safety programs meet compliance reporting requirements

• Regularly review and update safety programs to maintain relevance and effectiveness

• Drive a culture of safety awareness across the organization.


What you bring:

• Proven experience in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)

• Deep knowledge of Safety Standards and Safety Programs

• Experience in conducting Safety Audits

• Familiarity with Onboarding processes

• Understanding of Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) regulations

• Ability to Conduct Investigations related to safety incidents

• Experience in Accident Reporting and Accident Investigation

• Familiarity with Compliance Metrics and Compliance Reporting

• Certification in occupational health and safety is desirable
