We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Corporate Safety Manager to join our team at Metalogic Inspection Services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing safety programs across our Canadian and U.S. operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in alignment with our core values and industry best practices.
  • Lead HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Maintain and oversee certifications for the company and employees to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Drive a culture of safety by providing leadership and training on safe work practices and procedures.
  • Manage Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) claims and ensure timely filing and follow-up.
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, and develop corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Oversee and manage compliance with ISO 9000 standards.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure HSE initiatives are fully integrated into business operations.
Requirements:
  • Relevant education in senior-level safety management, ideally within the NDT, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing HSE programs, preferably within the NDT, oil & gas, or inspection industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. HSE regulations, with experience managing safety certifications and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage safety programs and initiatives across multiple locations.
  • Experience managing Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) claims and working with injured employees on safe and timely return-to-work programs.
  • Experience maintaining corporate safety certifications and managing compliance issues.
