Join Our Team as a Temporary Recruitment Specialist (Temporary, 100% Remote)

Are you passionate about connecting talented individuals with exciting opportunities? We are seeking a dedicated Recruitment Specialist for a four-month temporary position that allows you to work from the comfort of your own home. As a Recruitment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating, and successfully onboarding candidates through the entire recruitment lifecycle. Collaborate with recruitment coordinators, specialists, leads, hiring managers, and business stakeholders to ensure a seamless and effective recruitment process.

You will bring 1-2 years of previous high-volume full-cycle recruitment experience. You will also possess a Post-Secondary Diploma (2 years or more) in Business Administration, Human Resources, Recruitment, or a related field or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience. RPR designation is considered an asset.

This is a four-month temporary position with a preference to be based out of Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, or Fort St. John. However, we are open to other areas in Western Canada as the role is 100% remote. This is not your typical 9-to-5 Embrace a dynamic 40-hour work week averaged over 4 weeks with a unique schedule of 5-on-3-off, 7-on-3-off, and 6-on-4-off, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance throughout the month.

What would you be doing?

Conduct comprehensive resume screening and interviews to identify top talent. Schedule and coordinate pre-employment testing for potential candidates. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both active and passive talent to build a robust talent pipeline. Collaborate with internal management teams to deeply understand departmental needs and job specifications. Post job openings on the company's ATS, website, and approved job boards. Guide shortlisted candidates through the application process, ensuring a positive experience. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the applicant tracking system to keep the recruitment process efficient. Maintain regular contact with active candidates, providing updates and ensuring engagement throughout the interview and selection process. Communicate effectively with candidates regarding their status in the hiring process. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Does this sound like you?

Demonstrated relationship building through previous customer service interactions. Experience recruiting technical specialists, field/trades personnel and/or professionals in multiple disciplines is considered an asset. Demonstrated experience using various sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed. Familiarity with job boards, HR software, databases, and applicant tracking systems is an asset. Proven experience conducting behavioural-based interviews (in-person, phone, video, . Solid organizational skills, process-oriented with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize time-sensitive tasks. Strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
