Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AV Installation Specialist to join our team at Recruitment Partners. As a Senior AV Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing commercial audio visual systems in a variety of customer environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Commissioning: Perform audio visual system installation for clients, including low voltage wiring, trim-out, equipment, rack setup, video displays, cameras, projection systems, media rooms, audio systems, and control systems.
  • Cable Management: Perform cable pulls, crimp, and terminate audio and video cables.
  • Structural Installation: Assist with structural installation of displays, screens, and projectors.
  • Troubleshooting and Testing: Troubleshoot issues and final test of the systems being installed.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and supervise teams of AV Technicians to ensure installation completion.
  • On-the-Job Training: Provide on-the-job training and development for new or less experienced AV Technicians.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of audio visual experience.
  • Skills: Ability to read and follow building plans and wiring schematics, ability to lift heavy objects, ability to work off ladders and/or scaffolding, knowledgeable in computer and communication programs, ability to work efficiently under pressure with a high level of professionalism.
  • Certifications: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract, must have at least 2 years experience with Crestron and Biamp troubleshooting and code upload, CTS certification would be considered an asset, safety certifications such as First aid, H2s, Elevated work platform, and CSTS would be considered assets, audio, video conferencing, or control equipment manufacturer certifications would be considered assets.
