Administrative Full-time New Position

Reporting to the International Media Manager, this Assistant Manager role will be pivotal in the College's strategy, focusing on scaling digital promotions aimed at diverse markets. The primary goal is to expand the College's reach and engagement globally while overseeing the management and growth of a student team. This position is critical for elevating the College’s presence in diverse International markets through strategic digital media initiatives and managing an expanding team of students dedicated to these initiatives.

Successful candidates will be required to conduct work within Ontario and must be available to work on campus as required. It is anticipated that this position will meet the needs of the department through a hybrid work arrangement with 1 day on-site, and 4 days remote. 

Responsibilities:

Student Management and Team Leadership

Supervises and mentors a growing team of students involved in content creation, analytics, and outreach Supports the hiring process of new students for every intake and oversees the onboarding process of the social media ambassador student team Provides guidance on effective communication and strategies for engaging diverse audiences Conducts regular meetings, setting goals, and fosters a collaborative and supportive team environment Monitors the new students' chat platform to ensure timely and appropriate responses from the team of students

Digital Strategy Development

Collaborates with the Media Manager to create comprehensive digital marketing strategies, targeting diverse international markets Assists in crafting culturally sensitive content tailored to specific demographics and aligns with overarching strategies Drives innovation and planning on the use of the latest in digital marketing and social media strategies and tools

Campaign Execution and Management

Assists the Media Manager in implementing digital campaigns across various channels Monitors campaign performance alongside the Manager, analyzes data, and suggests refinements for better engagement Ensures campaigns align with cultural sensitivities and the diversification strategy of the team

Reporting and Analysis

Collaborates with the Media Manager to generate reports on campaign performance, audience engagement, and ROI Assists in analyzing data to derive actionable insights and supports the Manager in refining strategies for future campaigns

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Digital Marketing and Design, Design and Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design, Photography and Multimedia, Market Analysis, Digital Data Analysis, Social Media Marketing, or other related fields Three years of experience managing a team of students/or staff in a digital marketing position Experience in overseeing digital marketing demand generation performance, including visitor engagement, lead conversion, and student acquisition Demonstrated progressively responsible experience in administering digital marketing strategies Hands-on experience in creating and executing multi-channel campaigns A working knowledge of Graphic Design Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for effectively recruiting, managing the student ambassador team, and conducting high-level reporting Excellent communication, writing, and editing abilities Capability to handle multiple initiatives and projects concurrently Ability to work efficiently against tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a sharp focus on detail and accuracy Technical expertise required: High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Planning and executing Facebook and Google Ads campaigns Familiarity with MS Office and SharePoint Self-starting, highly motivated individual capable of swift adaptation, innovative problem-solving, and delivering results within strict timelines Exceptional analytical skills, including a proven track record of problem identification and solution-finding through data analysis
