Objective

The Manufacturing Engineer evaluates, designs and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, manufacturing processes, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates, designs and improves manufacturing methods
  • Responsible for identifying deficiencies, improving and maintaining a Quality Program which ensures that the goals of the Quality Policy are met.
  • Initiate enhanced reporting, materials planning and system planning
  • Identify patterns of non-compliance, recommends and verifies corrective action and communicates this to all internal parties
  • Developing and maintaining engineering BOM’s within the MRP environment as well as assisting in operations functions
  • Working from existing engineering documentation, structure, prepare, create and maintain BOMs (Bills of Material) and hardware lists in the MRP system.
  • Provide technical support of MRP system, manufacturing equipment and tools
  • Collaborate and lead projects to improve manufacturing processes and systems
  • Effectively manage engineering requirements of MRP implementation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field
  • 3 years experience in manufacturing or related Industry
  • Working knowledge of CAD/Solidworks
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively to employees of all levels in the organization
  • Able to speak and write standard English
  • Legally able to work in applicable country
  • Experience in CNC programming
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma process
