ObjectiveThe Manufacturing Engineer evaluates, designs and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, manufacturing processes, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods to increase efficiency and productivity
- Develop and maintain a Quality Program to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Initiate enhanced reporting, materials planning and system planning to optimize production
- Identify patterns of non-compliance and recommend corrective action
- Develop and maintain engineering BOM's within the MRP environment and assist in operations functions
- Provide technical support of MRP system, manufacturing equipment and tools
- Collaborate and lead projects to improve manufacturing processes and systems
- Effectively manage engineering requirements of MRP implementation
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field
- 3 years experience in manufacturing or related Industry
- Working knowledge of CAD/Solidworks
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to employees of all levels in the organization
- Able to speak and write standard English
- Legally able to work in applicable country
- Experience in CNC programming
- Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma process
