Objective

The Manufacturing Engineer evaluates, designs and improves manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, manufacturing processes, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and improve manufacturing methods to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and maintain a Quality Program to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Initiate enhanced reporting, materials planning and system planning to optimize production
  • Identify patterns of non-compliance and recommend corrective action
  • Develop and maintain engineering BOM's within the MRP environment and assist in operations functions
  • Provide technical support of MRP system, manufacturing equipment and tools
  • Collaborate and lead projects to improve manufacturing processes and systems
  • Effectively manage engineering requirements of MRP implementation
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field
  • 3 years experience in manufacturing or related Industry
  • Working knowledge of CAD/Solidworks
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively to employees of all levels in the organization
  • Able to speak and write standard English
  • Legally able to work in applicable country
  • Experience in CNC programming
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma process
