Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to enhance our engineering team. This role is essential due to the expansion of our operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will:
- Support the development and evaluation of products, materials, processes, or equipment related to the manufacturing of power transformers.
- Engage in daily production activities by diagnosing issues, gathering, and analyzing data to ensure optimal equipment performance and availability.
- Conduct testing and validation of processes, equipment, raw materials, and finished products.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement strategies, and 5S methodologies as necessary.
- Contribute to the invention and design of various manufacturing tools and assembly fixtures.
- Design and coordinate manufacturing engineering tasks, experiments, and operational procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to technicians and operators on new processes and procedures.
- Research, compile, analyze, report, and test various designs, products, processes, or materials.
- Ensure compliance with all design specifications and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A university degree in Engineering or a diploma in Engineering Technology, complemented by relevant work experience.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of related experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and 3D CAD software.
- The ability to work independently while supporting engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and the ability to work at heights when required.
