Your role

Ensures product is properly loaded, secured and shipped to the correct customer in the correct quantity. Makes sure that shipping procedures, blocking and bracing, and transportation guidelines are being followed. Ensures that shipping and material SAP transactions are done correctly and within established time guidelines. Works to improve overall efficiency of all warehouse activities including 5S housekeeping projects. Coordinates with all affected groups related to Shipping activities, including laboratory, labeling, planners and logistics providers. Provides oversight with the Logistics Manager over logistic regulations and compliance to those standards. Other Functions:
-Supports all safety related activities including safety huddles, incident reviews, Gensuite’s.
-Monitors and oversees issues involving equipment, i.e., forklifts, label printers, scanners, shrink wrapping equipment.

About you

High School Diploma or Equivalency required. Preferred 3 plus years’ experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment. Logistics experience is a plus. SAP experience is preferred. MS Office software is preferred. Self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others. Willingness to obtain Haz Mat (DOT, IATA, ICAO, IMDG) Certification. Training will be provided as needed.
