Your Role

  • Ensure that products are properly loaded, secured, and shipped to the correct customer in the correct quantity.
  • Verify that shipping procedures, blocking and bracing, and transportation guidelines are being followed.
  • Ensure that shipping and material SAP transactions are done correctly and within established time guidelines.
  • Work to improve the overall efficiency of all warehouse activities, including 5S housekeeping projects.
  • Coordinate with all affected groups related to Shipping activities, including laboratory, labeling, planners, and logistics providers.
  • Provide oversight with the Logistics Manager over logistic regulations and compliance to those standards.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Support all safety-related activities, including safety huddles, incident reviews, and Gensuite.
    • Monitor and oversee issues involving equipment, such as forklifts, label printers, scanners, and shrink wrapping equipment.

About You

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalency is required.
  • Preferred 3 plus years' experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
  • Logistics experience is a plus.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • MS Office software is preferred.
  • You must be a self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • You will be required to obtain Haz Mat (DOT, IATA, ICAO, IMDG) Certification. Training will be provided as needed.
