The Environmental Technologist position is ideal for someone looking for career advancement and professional growth, including an opportunity to develop into a Project Manager role. The ideal candidate will be familiar with relevant Ontario regulations and have at least 3-5 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.

What you will be doing at Pinchin

Perform Phase I/One and II/Two Environmental Site Assessments including soil, groundwater and soil vapour samplingMonitor underground storage tank removal programs and other remediation activitiesAssist in the training and mentorship of junior/intermediate project technologistsPrepare and edit technical reportsLiaise with clients, subcontractors, and other potentially involved stakeholdersDevelop and maintain positive client relationships 

What you bring to the Pinchin team 

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science3-5 years of related experience, preferably in OntarioProfessional designation, such as P. Eng., P. Geo., C.E.T. etc. (or working towards) is considered an assetExcellent writing, editing, technical and organizational skills along with the ability to problem solveStrong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently Ability to thrive in a team environmentStrong working knowledge of Ontario Regulation 153/04Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and OutlookAvailability to travel for work when requiredAvailability to work outside core business hoursValid driver’s license, insurance & personal vehicle is required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)
