Civil Engineering Technologist Role

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a strong safety culture on construction sites
  • Completing project inspections and assessments
  • Acting as a point of contact for clients and subcontractors
  • Environmental monitoring and field work
  • Advising on construction decisions and project management
  • Preparing tender documents and proposals
  • Collaborating with clients and internal teams
  • Assisting in report preparation and data analysis

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
  • Professional Designation (CET) preferred
  • Previous experience in consulting or construction
  • Ability to understand civil engineering drawings and designs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
  • Willingness to travel across Ontario for project work
  • Experience with survey equipment and software
  • Comfortable working in various environmental conditions
