The Sustainability Consultant role is perfect for individuals aiming for career progression and professional development, including the potential to evolve into a Project Manager position. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with applicable Ontario regulations and have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the environmental consulting sector.

Key Responsibilities at Pinchin

Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including soil, groundwater, and soil vapor samplingOversee underground storage tank removal initiatives and other remediation effortsSupport the training and mentorship of junior and intermediate project technologistsDraft and revise technical reportsEngage with clients, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholdersFoster and maintain positive client relationships

Qualifications for the Pinchin Team

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering and/or Diploma in Environmental Science3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably within OntarioProfessional designation, such as P. Eng., P. Geo., C.E.T., etc. (or in progress) is considered an assetExceptional writing, editing, technical, and organizational skills, along with strong problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independentlyCapacity to thrive in a collaborative environmentSolid understanding of Ontario Regulation 153/04Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookWillingness to travel for work as necessaryFlexibility to work outside standard business hoursValid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle required (work-related travel expenses will be reimbursed)
