What you’ll do:

The IT Support Specialist is knowledgeable in IT systems and is comfortable talking about technology in a way that users can understand. They will conduct small onsite fixes that do not require a Level 2 Technician. They will assist the department on the front line for receiving support requests, creating and maintaining support tickets, taking care of first level support issues when possible and answering incoming phone calls to the Helpdesk. They will escalate and assign tickets to higher level technicians as required and provide assistance as required to help on projects. This role is primarily based out of our administration office but will assist in the field when required.

Who you are:

You have a basic knowledge of various IT systems including hardware and software. Previous IT help desk support will be considered an asset. You have strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and excellent analytical ability You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
