Job Summary:

The IT Support Specialist is a key member of our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited, providing technical support and assistance to our employees and stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems and the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and assistance to employees and stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person
  • Conduct small onsite fixes and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of support tickets and escalate issues to higher-level technicians as required
  • Provide assistance on projects and contribute to the development of technical solutions
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of various IT systems, including hardware and software
  • Previous IT help desk support experience is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and excellent analytical ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Honest and trustworthy, with a results-oriented approach and a commitment to excellence
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with others to deliver solutions
