The Sales Engineer is responsible for: Growing the sales of Monarch products within the assigned territory. Managing the complete sales cycle from consultation with customers to closing. Identifying new customers through research, networking and cold calling. Proactively managing existing accounts while prospecting for new business within existing customer base. Developing and implementing detailed plans to maximize sales for each customer. Collaborating with Business Development, Product Management and Engineering to develop effective sales plans, ensuring sales targets are met in the near-term and sustained into the future. Facilitating improved communication within the organization by monitoring current and future requirements to ensure Monarch is well positioned to sustain and increase business. Monitoring customers’ business conditions and communicating with the organization to ensure performance targets are being met. Compiling and communicating accurate sales forecasts continuously.
You and Your Experience: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent. An established track record of selling technical or industrial products and solutions, demonstrating success through various market conditions. Proven ability to build lasting business-to-business sales relationships while exceeding sales growth and profitability goals. Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency with a proven record of following though to meet deadlines and commitments. Experience that demonstrates capability of developing solutions with customers’ Engineering Departments. Will have experience and success selling to OEM’s. Must be able to travel across international borders.
